Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to manage a team of FAEs to grow design-wins by providing technical proposals and supports to sales team and customers.
Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:
• Manage & train the Field Application Engineering team.
• Develop and streamline FAE procedures
• Manage & follow the customers and design house solutions
• Allocate resources to support customer and design house in developing application software and hardware
• Manage the supporting activities for customers in their production ramp-up cycle: engineering sample, product sample, pilot production and mass production
• Cooperate with sales & marketing team for customer support requirements, product strategies, and providing the customers’ products status and projects schedules regularly.
• Coordinate the internal resources of Application Engineer & Engineering team for any technical issues related to new or existing products supporting
• Feedback market/customer/application information to internal organization
Requirement & Experience & Qualifications:
• Creative, critical and analytical reasoning person
• Degree in EE with minimum 8 years field technical support experience. Solid & sound knowledge in system hardware and software support for consumer, industrial and telecom sectors.
• Experience in Assembly and C programming is a must. To be familiar with 8, 16 or 32 bit RISC microcontrollers architecture. DSP programming would be an advantage.
• Development tool experience with GNU or like systems. JTAG debugger experience is a must.
• Experience with applications at consumer electronics, automotive and industrial control circuitry.
• Familiar with Microsoft office
• Schematic entry and PCB layout application software is a must.
