​Job Description:

The successful candidate will support our customers with in-field integration assistance and product training. The primary focus will be on pre-sales and post-sales support for the TouchSense OEM product line and Content SDK product line (including HMSDK, UHL and AHMSDK), XX’s flagship vibration enhancement solution. This FAE, working closely with the XX sales and engineering teams, will drive adoption of the haptic solution among project teams at target device OEMs, content providers, content developers as well as supporting device providers.

Responsibilities include:
Responsible for pre-sale support and post-sale agreement execution of Immersion China business;
Facilitating integration of the TouchSense System/Content SDK – hardware and software – into customer products;
Participation in customer calls to better understand project specifications and needs, including visiting customers for installation and implementation support
Reviewing software integration requirements
Providing in-field product training services on the TouchSense/Content SDK system to customers including mechanical integration, drive and control electronics, APIs, effect design , authoring tools and contents application SDK integration
Assisting with onsite/remote code implementation requests from clients
Implementing software features into customer code base
Assisting with customer application feature implementation
Validating customer software implementation
Coordinating and tracking TouchSense or contents SDK integration efforts in customer products.
Support local engineering manager on marketing material development, product marketing and business development;
Allocate support for yourself and other China Application Engineers as requested by the sales team;
Owning technical relationships with customers;
Coordinating communication with other Immersion stakeholders in Product Development, Product Management and Sales.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, EE engineering or science;

·         3 to 5 years’ experience in JAVA/C/C++ development;

·         Bilingual – Business Mandarin and English, both written and spoken; other languages a plus

·         Above-average communications and interpersonal skills;

·         Rigorous design and analysis skills;

·         Experience with mobile phone operating systems with a preference for Android

·         Experience with and passion for smart phone business and content industry (gaming, video, chat)

·         Familiarity with Linux

·         Knowledge of MFC and other GUI programming tools and concepts;

·         Familiarity with the Windows Office suite for documentation & communication tasks; and

·         Quick response to customer anytime

·         Superior customer relation management skills

·         Business  travel is required

Additional technical qualifications (preferred):

·         Industrial/GUI design knowledge or experience;

·         Content application development experience is a plus

·         Additional mobile platform development experience;

·         Understanding of electromechanical systems;

·         Mechatronics or robotics training or background;

·         Any experience in the field of haptics/force feedback;

·         Experience in design or manufacture of consumer electronics products
