    Make sure your laker are version 2011.06. copy the related patch to <laker_installed_dir>/platform/LINUX/bin. or <laker_installed_dir>/platform/LINUX64/bin ( for 64 bits). run the patch. it shoud be

[total hits/matching patterns/non-matching patterns]
[002/2/0] laker
1 files checked, 1 changed.

then you can execute laker without any license setting.

I have 3 problems, please help me, thanks a lot.
1. I try version 2011.06RV from "http://bbs.eetop.cn/viewthread.php?tid=310580&highlight=laker". But I get "2011.02p3" when I run laker, so your patch can work for this version? My linux is RHEL4.8-64bit.
2. I also get error "License checking failed, or the max....".
3. As I try <...>/platform/LINUX64/bin/laker, it seems that my linux miss libQtSolutions_MotifExtension-2.7.so.1

    My patch is working ONLY for laker 2011.06. It would NOT be able to patch other versions.
You should set your path to <laker_installed_dir>/bin . The laker would call the real execution file according to your platform.
.. So 201106RV is not real version of 2011.06 64 bits ? I didn't know about this.
