Job Title: ASIC Design Engineer (Senior)
Job Duties:
- Perform DFT design and verification on complex mixed signal SOC chips. Tasks mainly include MemBist, JTAG, Scan, AC-scan, test compress, ATPG, pattern generation and simulation and silicon debugging.
- Apply low power design concepts, including multiple power domain, power gating, clock gating, and data retention, to ASIC designs. Develop test benches and test cases and run simulations.
- Conduct floor planning, placement and timing closure using Synopsys ICC or Cadence SOC Encounter. Perform static timing analysis using Primetime. Perform formal verification between RTL and gate level netlist using LEC. Participate in real silicon bringing up on ATE.
- Familiar with interfaces such as DDR, USB, PCIE, Ethernet, HDMI etc.
Job Requirements:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and five+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Master's degree in stated field with two+ years of experience will also be acceptable. 4) Support Linux open source community for Marvell WiFi/Bluetooth devices
5) Support customer porting/debugging remotely or onsite as needed
Qualification:
1) MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required.
2) 5+ year relevant development and debugging experience is required
3) Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required
4) Experience with C programming and debugging is required
5) Knowledge of TCP/IP is required
6) Knowledge of WiFi/Bluetooth is preferred
7) Experience with Linux kernel and driver development is preferred
8) Experience with Android/Limo is preferred
9) Experience with firmware development on embedded system is preferred
10) Experience with software debugging using ICE through JTAG is preferred
11) Experience with SDIO/USB host interface is preferred
12) Experience with open source work is preferred
