Layout Engineer 版图设计工程师

Responsibilities:
• Develops and prepares multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD or other computerized equipment. Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots. May check design layouts and detailed drawings. The Engineer will also:
o Follows broad instructions.
o Contributes to technical projects with some guidance.
o Solves problems of moderate complexity.
o Applies judgment in interpreting results and conducting quantitative analysis.
o Integrates thorough technical knowledge within discipline.
o Interacts with more experienced team members and managers to resolve complex problems.
o Applies knowledge of a single OR multiple sub-function(s).
o May lead or train others on the team.”

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Microelectronics, Electronics)
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Custom layout and successful tape-in experience is a must; flash layout experience is a plus
• Proficiency in layout Electronic Data Automation (EDA) tools such as Virtuoso, Hercules, Calibre in doing layout edit and Lay-out Versus Vchematic (LVS), Design Route Check (DRC), Electric Static Discharge (ESD) and NAC
• Can work highly independently. Experience in leading a small team is a plus.
• Good teamwork and communication skills

CAD Engineer (EDA Design Support) CAD工程师

In this role, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Part of your work will be memory design environment setup and maintenance, which include—
o Interfacing EDA vendors for tools' evaluation, maintenance, installment
o Setting up and maintaining product design environment.
o Providing solutions to design engineer when they find issues on design environment or tools.
• Another important part of the job is flow development and support to FE /BE team, which include—
o Providing Perl, C, Skill, Tcl scripts support for design team.
o Developing new methodology and flows to improve productivity and control quality, the main flows include:
FE: Synthesis, Simulation, STA, and Validation etc.
BE: Place and Routing, Customer layout, Physical verification, Power analysis etc.

Major of computer science, micro-electronic or related. Master degree or bachelor degree with 2+ year related experience or above.
• Strong program capability of Skill, Perl, Tcl/Tk, C, etc in unix/linux and a strong desire to automate flow
• Knowledge of design EDA tools such as Cadence Schematic entry, Eldo/Hspice, Verilog, ADMS, Modelsim, Conformal, PT, DC experience
• Familiar with IC design/layout flow
• Good written and spoken English
• Good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team
• Real ASIC project experience as a FE or BE designer is a plus

NAND Verification Engineer NAND设计验证工程师

Description:
As an IC Verification Engineer or Senior Verification Engineer in Flash Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of a team that develops and verifies many NAND products with global teams in USA, Japan, Italy and local. Your primary areas of responsibilities will include generation of test cases used in functional verification, development and maintenance of testbench, writing assertions, developing or testing new verification methodologies, and running regressions. You will work closely with global design and verification engineers in developing the testplan and debugging test failures.
    
Qualifications:
- Proven track record for successful verification of IC products in the past;
- Strong background in Verilog and verification methodology; knowledge of SystemVerilog or other HVL a plus;
- Knowledge and experience in writing assertions, OVM, etc;
- Knowledge and experience with Perl and Unix/Linux scripting strongly desired;
- A high-level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to solving problems;
- Good English communications skills.

Education:
BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of verification engineering experience is required.

Component Design Engineer - Analog 模拟电路设计工程师

Job Description:

Summary: Detailed design of analog/mixed-signal circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of circuit and design support for mass production.
Has the flash memory design experience is preferred.

Essential Functions:
• Architects, designs and verifies circuits, logic, systems, algorithms, etc. to meet product requirements.
• Determines design approaches and parameters. Responsible for custom layout, including overseeing the work of layout designers. Conducts evaluation of design results by laboratory measurements of ICs.
• Reports on design results through design reviews, in accordance with company quality requirements and resolves action items generated as a result of these reviews. Attends design reviews to provide input and guidance to other designers.
Education and/or Experience: Major of micro-electronic is preferred. Bachelor's degree with 3+ year experience or Master degree required. An advanced degree may reduce the minimum experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Knowledge of complex AC/DC analysis (poles, zeros, compensation)
• Signal analysis knowledge (convolution, transforms)
• Parasitic analysis knowledge (capacitance, resistance, power grid, package)
• MOS Device modeling skills (noise, excess thermal noise, DIBL)
• Knowledge of CMOS fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of MOS transistors and analog/digital circuit design
• Knowledge of digital design and design flows for optimal design results (area, timing, power)
• Knowledge of design EDA tools such as Cadence Schematic entry, Eldo/Hspice experience

Job Description:

• Own the design of all digital blocks in flash memory. Applicant should have basic technical skills on how to design digital block, have working knowledge of general integrated circuit design flow and EDA tools with some work experience.

Education and/or Experience: Major of micro-electronics is preferred. Bachelor's degree with 3+ year experience or Master degree required. An advanced degree may reduce the minimum experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong VHDL coding and RTL design skills
• Familiar with digital simulator, Synopsys synthesize and timing analysis tools

Application Engineer 应用工程师

Job description:

- Provides technical expertise and value to customers. Assignments include interpretations of designs, applications, and service information. Typically interacts with sales team, manufacturing, and marketing personnel. Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products.

- Typically is required to make or assist in technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training. May work through all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis, design implementation and product manufacturing. Represents customers' interests at technical meetings within the company.

- Exploring Micron’s memory opportunities based on different segments, promoting Micron’s total memory solutions and developing the first prototype based on customers’ needs.

- Educating, influencing and driving ESG memory solutions, strategies, and value proposition with ESG development team and Marketing personal; stimulate customer awareness through technical supporting, trainings and technical seminars.

Requirement:

- EE bachelor or master degree.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
- Excellent structured problem solving skills.

Validation Engineer 测试验证工程师

Job Description:

• At pre-silicon phase, you need to involve in silicon simulation activities and debug activities to further understand the functions which will be used in post silicon validation.

• At pre-silicon phase, you need to develop/define/build the test method, test plan, test coverage with design engineer and work with test engineer for test program development.

• At post-silicon phase, you need to finish chip level function/performance data collection with multiple platforms.

• At post-silicon phase, you need to define product validation schedule to meet the overall project schedule and achieve business win.

• At post-silicon phase, you need to analyze the data, debug and understand every single abnormal and test failure.

• Give customer quick response for application issue. Be able to identify the customer reported failure and understand the root cause, provide with satisfied solutions.

Requirement:

• Electrical/electronic engineering, computer science background with BS or MS degree.
• Knowledge of C++ coding. Knowledge of script language (Perl, Python etc.), skill of O-scope and logic analyzer is a plus.
• Knowledge of flash memory is a plus.
• A high-level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to solve problems.
• Good communications skills, be able to work under pressure.
• Willing to take short domestic and international travel.
