1. Senior DSP Application Engineer - Shenzhen/Shanghai/Beijing      
                                                                                                                                                                 
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations                                                                                 

1. Key point of contact for technical support issues for FAEs working on projects with key customers
2. Setup and integration of CodeWarrior tools and products within the customer environment
3. Provide service for installation, tools and hardware bring up assistance and upgrade/update assistance in the customer environment
4. Provide creative solutions and workarounds to address customer issues
5. Strong interaction with CodeWarrior teams as customer advocate
a. Engineering and marketing team providing defect and feature enhancement feedback
b. Technical Publications to provide documentation improvement requests
c. Training to create and deliver training materials to technical audiences
6. Perform service request tracking utilizing Seibel to ensure timely resolution
7. Isolate defects and enter information in formal defect tracking systems
8. Use CodeWarrior tools to develop code samples and applications as would be done in a customer environment
9. Develop content usable in technical documentation: trainings, seminars, FAQ’s, Knowledgebase, etc.
10. Provide usability and pre-release testing and input on beta tools
11. Obtain and manage customer code to assist in creating automated testing
12. Assist customers with code porting and optimization as required
13. On-site customer visits (potentially for extended periods of time) and travel may be  required
                                                                                                                                                      
Specific Knowledge/Skills           

The ideal candidate has most if not all of the following skills and experience:
1. Experience with DSP development or as an FAE in the telecom industry; SOC experience highly preferred. Ideal candidate is experienced with Freescale’s StarCore architecture. Experience with competitive architectures (ARM, TI) desirable, and may be sufficient.
2. Experience with developing embedded applications in one or more of the following industries: network infrastructure, wireless communications (e.g. h.263 video, TD-SCDMA audio)
3. Experience with CodeWarrrior and other embedded programming tools
4. Expert in one or more programming languages: C and ASM required, C++ highly desirable
5. Significant key customer contact and interfacing experience
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
7. Experience developing and delivering technical training materials
8. Experience with configuration management systems (Clearcase ideal)
9. Experience with one or more commercial RTOS’s (e.g. embedded Linux)

2. Senior DSP FAE-Shenzhen/Shanghai/Beijing

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations   
-       Responsible for StarCore DSP field application support in networking markets.
-       Provide on-site technical support to customers including product promotion, system analysis, toolset demonstration and trainings, schematic review, prototype debug support, production problem support, etc.
-       Collaborate with worldwide teams to resolve complicated technical requests. Manage key projects and track progress.
-       Aggressive in capturing new design opportunities. Work closely with sales and marketing team to consolidate customer requirements for new product definition.
-       Establish good working relationship with customer and internal teams.

Specific Knowledge/Skills   
-       Candidate should have a Bachelor degree and preferable with a Master degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
-       At least 5 years of high-end DSP development experiences in wireless infrastructure equipment. Experiences in algorithm optimization is preferred. Ability to use development tools to do troubleshooting.
-       Extensive knowledge in LTE/3G baseband and vocoder applications.
-       Good learning agility, project management skills and interpersonal skills is required.
-       Proactive and highly self-motivated. Able to work independently under high pressure.
-       Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua.
-       Frequent travel may be required.
