Embedded software QA engineer

Title: QA Engineer    Location: Beijing

Position Summary:


You will be responsible for the Quality assurance and configuration management of company's Professional Broadcast encoders, decoders, and transcoders.
You will work closely with the software engineers to develop and implement a test plan, as well as develop scripts to perform automated testing.


Skills and Qualifications:

• Solid real-time embedded firmware and software testing ability
• Emphasis on testing methodology and building a framework for test
• C/C++ programming experience required
• Experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby)
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems
• Linux/Unix

• Capability of taking on increasing responsibility
• Good analysis and design skills
• Independent work ethic to bring tasks to completion

• 1 to 3years of full-time, non-co-op work experience

Assets:

• Experience with consumer electronics
• Signal processing, including audio/video processing and/or compression
