TESLA by Tesoft is a communication system simulator that was used early in
the last decade. TESLA provided a netlist description of a communication system
and utilized functions, rather than tokens, for components. SystemView by Elanix,
which featured tokens and a graphical user interface, was introduced by the middle
of the last decade. SystemVue by Agilent EESof (http://eesof.tm.agilent.com) is the
current manifestation of this communication system simulator, with advanced capabilities
for design and analysis well beyond those presented even in this text.
SystemVueTM by Agilent EESof (http://eesof.tm.agilent.com) is one such useful
communication system simulation tool. This chapter introduces SystemVue (formerly
known as SystemView by Elanix®) in a quick-start manner, with emphasis on
the design and analysis environment and the available tokens from the libraries. Examples
of the use of SystemVue for the simulation of familiar analog communication
systems are provided to introduce the techniques. |
