algorithms and data structures in vlsi Design

One of themain problems in chip design is the huge number of possiblecombinations of individual chip elements, leading to a combinatorialexplosion as chips become more complex. New key results in theoreticalcomputer science and in the design of data structures and efficientalgorithms can be applied fruitfully here. The application of orderedbinary decision diagrams (OBDDs) has led to dramatic performanceimprovements in many computer-aided design projects. This textbookprovides an introduction to the foundations of this interdisciplinaryresearch area, with an emphasis on applications in computer-aidedcircuit design and formal verification.

BDD 就是Binary Decision Diagram
