Manager/Director of Manufacturing Operations

Location: South China
Salary: $100k – $130k plus expatriate benefits
Reports To: VP, Manufacturing Operations based in San Diego
Main Responsibilities:
• Build a china based manufacturing operations team from the ground up
• Day to day management of the production, purchasing, planning, RMA and operations engineering functions
• Oversee new product introduction from a manufacturing perspective. Ensure production product is of the highest quality.
• Manage to our China manufacturing operations budget.

• On-time delivery against customer orders
• Quality of production product
• Excess Inventory
• Inventory Turns
• Organizational development
• New product introduction on-time delivery
• Employee retention and morale
• Leadership
• Ability to work with other our senior managers

Requirements:
• BS/BA or relevant experience
• 10 + years of experience managing a manufacturing operations team
• Experience with all aspects of manufacturing operations including new product introduction.
• Telecom experience is a plus
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Born and raised in Mainland China is a plus
• Experience in building teams in China and the US
• Strong communicator and able to interface with customers
• Must be able to work with management in the US.
• Experience in managing contract manufacturers and supply chains in China is a plus
