Job Description:
Senior software engineer to work on WLAN and Bluetooth software development including driver, firmware etc. for XX Embedded and Emerging Business Unit (EEBU).
1) Develop WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth on Linux/Windows platform and firmware on SoC devices
2) Debug WiFi and Bluetooth issues on different platforms (e.g. PC, smartphones, eReaders, tablets, netbooks, and game consoles)
3) Optimize power consumption and performance of WiFi and Bluetooth subsystems;
4) Develop new WiFi, Bluetooth features based on open source projects such as WPA supplicant, OpenSSL, and BlueZ
5) Support customer porting/debugging remotely or onsite as needed

Qualifications:
1) MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 5+ year relevant embedded software development and debugging experience is required
3) Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required
4) Experience with C programming and debugging is required
5) Experience with firmware development on embedded system is required
6) Experience with Linux kernel and driver or Windows driver development is required
7) Knowledge of WiFi/Bluetooth is preferred
8) Knowledge of TCP/IP and socket programming is preferred
9) Experience with software debugging using ICE through JTAG is preferred
10) Experience with SDIO/USB/PCIe bus interface is preferred
11) Experience with open source work is preferred
12) Willing to travel as needed
