But MMSIM will not work.IC 5.141 will pull its own spectre simulator, not MMSIM spectre..
I have tried on CentOS 6.6 and it doesn't work..
However IC 5.141 works well even with MMSIM 14 on RHEL 4WS.
Anybody knows why ???

Hi all,

I have same error with YULONGUTK when I install IC5 on rhel 7
"ERROR: can't determine installation root.
can't find tools/bin/cds_root in any parent directory of /opt/eda/cadence/IC5141/tools/dfII/bin/icfb
Unable to find the Cadence software in your $PATH."

Anybody can help?

did you add .i686 library?
the RHEL 7 only has 64bit version , if not add some .686 lib it will not work.

Would you like to describe the procedure you install the RHEL7 ( choose which server or steps )?
