Some of you have asked about the features that appeared in this release, so here's the difference between v23.1 and v21.1.
Six new 'products' have been added, and each of them should naturally have at least one feature, sometimes several, and sometimes some of them repeat those already existing.
I know about 5 new features. I have doubts about one more, but most likely it is as I think. There should be one more, but I can't figure out the conditions for it to appear.
If anyone among you has a graphics card from this list: V100, A100, H100, and at least a 16-core processor in the same system, and you have a 'heavy' transient simulation (millions of devices) that takes a long time to compute on the CPU, and you have installed the new release, and you know how to modify/add features to your license file and are ready to experiment, please write to me in private messages, and I will provide you with the necessary GPU feature and give a couple of tips on setting up your environment, if the simulation fails to launch.
Additionally, you need to install several extra packages (my example is for RHEL8):
cuda-cudart
cuda-toolkit-11-8-config-common
cuda-toolkit-11-config-common
cuda-toolkit-config-common
libcusparse
libcusolver
libcublas
