The program tells you to look at the log, have you looked at it? It contains useful information that can be a path to the correct solution to the problem.
If you do not understand the content of the log, then post it here.
Additionally answer the following questions:
What OS are you using? Type uname -a in terminal and post answer here.
What simulator version are you using? And which mode (32bit/64bit)? If you are using spectre then type spectre -v in terminal and post answer here. Then open your spectre.out and find line named "Comand line ... /path/to/your/spectre -64 input.scs ... " and check if "-64" key containing here.
