Job Responsibilities

Successful candidate will report to a local AE Manager and will have three main functions.

1.        Pre-sales: collaborate with local Sales to get customer project design-wins via project proposals, product demo, design review and firmware tuning.

2.        Project development: complete sensor design, firmware tuning, troubleshooting of technical issues particularly when the custom touch modules are integrated into the customer device.

3.        Support new platform development: learn new technology, identify the best customers in region to be alpha or beta product partners and roll out the new platform to the region.

Technical challenges include understanding capacitive sensor design, FPCB design and manufacturing, design for manufacturability and assembly, negotiating technical specifications with customers and partners and fix all issues to make sure customer devices no problem for MP. Some typical job functions include:

        Recommend optimized design solutions for customers.

        Perform product deficiency analysis and recommend corrective actions.

        Technical support at customer side to fix customer issues and improve product performance.

        Participate in definition of new product/design requirements, solution prototyping, transfer to production, and failure analysis for new technologies being prepared by the platform teams.

        Technical support for new business development activities in local region and potentially other regions with similar touch technology development.

        Develop knowledge on most recent display and human interface technologies.

任职条件

Required Qualifications

        BSEE or MSEE with at least 4 years Analog/digital circuit design/application experience.

        Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

        Strong knowledge on capacitive touch and I2C/SPI interfaces.

        Good skills in debugging application/driver on Android devices.

        Good skills in analyzing tools such as oscilloscope and logic analyzer.

        Experience in supporting customers in consumer electronics industry.

        Experience in working with cross functional team to implement system design.

        Experience in C/C++/Python programming for embedded system and/or Windows.

        Understand PCB/FPCB layout, fabrication and assembly process.

        Willing to travel locally and internationally.

Desired Qualifications

        Experience in mechanical design review and layout design review.

        Strong analog and digital system knowledge in portable systems.

        Knowledge in Linux/Android operating system architecture and principles.

        Knowledge of driver structure in smart phone.

        Knowledge of display sub-system and RGB/MIPI is a plus.

        Knowledge of touch firmware structure is a plus.

        Knowledge of materials such as glass, PET and other materials available for development of touch and human interface devices.
