Sr. Engineers/Engineers (Broadband Access System Test)
Job Description:
- Will work closely with a skilled team of development engineers to design & execute feature testing and documenting test results for broadband access product
- Activities are self-determined and involve the assessment and resolution of complex problems at the project/functional level.
- Set up a testing platform for telecommunication broadband product development.
- Design and execute feature testing via scripts or automation test bed, and documenting test results.
Requirements:
- Must have strong trouble shooting skills of testing DSLAM/PON equipment with network traffic analyzers and hardware interface testers.
- Hand-on skills with diagnostic and test tools, network traffic generators such as SmartBits, Diversify, network protocol analyzers such as Ethereal or Sniffer.
- Knowledge of IBM/Rational and/or Mercury test tools is a plus.
- Experience of testing voice/TDM protocols like V5.1/V5.2, GR303, etc is a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience of testing on a telecom platform.
- Speaks fluent English, with good written communication skills.
- Minimum BS in Communication engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Equivalent.
Mechanical Engineer (Transport)
Job Description:
-The candidate will be a team member in the development of complex access and transport products. Development responsibilities may include specification, qualification, design, troubleshooting, technology support, product test and cost reductions for mechanical systems or parts.
Responsibilities:
-Design/redesign and support of mechanical systems or parts for access and transport network products;
-Participate in cost reduction activities including specification development, vendor interfacing and qualification testing;
-Evaluates and implements changes to solve manufacturing performance problems, reduce costs, and improve product quality/reliability/performance;
-Create specification for mechanical subsystem according to the requirement specification; Select and cooperate with external suppliers;
Requirements:
-University bachelors degree or higher in mechanical or other relevant engineering;
-Above 8 years of mechanical engineering experience;
-Experience with Pro-E, AutoCAD create solid models and detailed drawings;
-Knowledgeable in dealing with raw materials and supplier selection;
-Experience with mechanical testing;
-Being familiar with telecom products and related standards;
-Being familiar with aluminum die carting, plastic and mental sheet parts;
-A good team player and a good command of English;
-Experienced at big telecom company will be preferred;
-Experience with design analysis tools such as thermal analysis, structural analysis will be preferred.
PCB Engineer (Transport)
Job Description:
- This position is a key role in a multidiscipline team consisting of Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Thermal Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Test Engineers, and PCB Designers, that work together in a fast paced dynamic interactive environment to efficiently create the design of one or more PCB(s) for a module used in a telecommunications system. It is imperative that all PCB designs that are created are of very high quality, meet all engineering design constraints, meet all manufacturing design rules, and are implemented in the fewest number of layers to minimize manufacturing costs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with PCB layout, Cadence and Mentor Graphics experience preferred
- Expedition PCB tools flow, including the use of the constraint editor and the Xtreeme PCB flow, for the design of high density PCBs
- Must have experience importing physical design constraints from mechanical engineering and laying out components in a manner that results in an optimum floorplan, meeting the electrical, thermal, and manufacturing design constraints
- Must have experience fanning out high density device connections, routing high speed differential signals, ensuring that all design constraints are met, noise shielding methods, and be experienced in routing issues associated with multiple split power and ground planes
- Must have experience inserting test points, validating the design by using Mentor Graphics’ Valor software program, panelizing the design, and transferring the design for fabrication
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent teamwork and problem resolution skills
- Bachelor degree in relevant major is desired |
