Job Description:

Ø
Work on key open sourcesoftware projects to enable and optimize data plane networking software (e.g.DPDK, ODP, VPP) for *** based systems.

Ø
Collaborate withinternal/external key partners to understand requirements and develop keyfeatures for the *** architecture in Networking related OSS projects.

Ø
Work with *** CPU andArchitecture teams to discuss new CPU features and enable them in OSS projects.

Ø
Work with *** partners andthe open source community to upstream and maintain code.

Ø
As a successful candidate,you need to be flexible, with a variety of software development skills and acommitment to extending the breadth and depth of your knowledge.

Job Requirement:

Ø
Master’s degree in ComputerScience, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent degree; or applicable trackrecord in the industry,

Ø
At least 5 years of workingexperience on software development and optimization.

Ø
Proficiency in one or moreprogramming languages, e.g. C/C++, Java, Python.

Ø
Strong understanding ofEthernet, TCP/IP stack, L2/L3 network protocols, and switching/routingtechnology.

Ø
Hands on experience indesigning, implementing, and debugging software for networking systems.

Ø
Familiar with Linux andrelated distributions, e.g. RHEL, CentOS, SUSE, Ubuntu.

Ø
Familiar with open sourceproject development and patch contribution processes.

Ø
Experience in various Linuxtools related to source code version control, code review, bug tracking, CI/CD,e.g. Git/Gerrit/Jira/Jenkins.

Ø
Clear and effective writtenand verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Ø
Able to work in achallenging environment under pressure with teamwork spirit, effectivetime-management and prioritization skills.

Ø
Familiar with Linuxperformance analysis tools and system level performance tuning.

Ø
Experience in dealing withcomplex issues with open source community.

Ø
Familiar with ***architecture and SoC, such as concepts of pipeline, cache, MMU and NUMA, andhow these hardware facts impact high-level software performance.

Ø
Familiar with testingmethodology and test automation.

Ø
Experience with open sourcenetworking fast packet processing project such as DPDK/ODP is highly desired.

Ø
Familiar with concepts andstandards related to SDN and NFV.

Ø
Familiar with Agilesoftware development methodology such as Scrum or Kanban.
