Sr. Principal Front-end Design Engineer(Location: SH/BJ)

    Position Description:

Ø Deliver/implement DDR/HBM IP. The engineer should be able to act as astrong team member and contributor. Exercise judgment within generally definedpractices and policies.

    Specific duties include:

Ø Proficiency in logic design, simulation, synthesis, STA and testing

Ø Proficiency in Verilog and its simulation environment

Ø Good knowledge of IC design

Ø  Atleast ten year experience working on digital IC development projects, excellentcommunication skills and the uncanny ability to both lead and contribute in acooperative team environment.

    Position Requirements:

Ø Essential Qualifications: Must have BS degree with 12+ years ofapplicable experience, MS degree with 10+ years of applicable experience inelectrical engineering, microelectronics, comparable engineering science orsolid state physics.

Ø Essential that the individual demonstrates strong communication, verbaland written.

Ø Requires good communication skills in English.

Ø Will have demonstrated successful completion of 15+ design projects asan individual contributor

Ø Familiar with JEDEC-DDR/HBM, DFI and AMBA protocols and have DDR projectdesign experience

Responsibilities:

- Lead the team Building a healthy pipelineof new business opportunities

- lead the team Qualifying and closingquality business

- Fortressing & growing market share inexisting accounts

- Winning new logos and gain market segmentshare in new accounts

- Develop and execute major accountstrategy and plan with field team

- Developing relationships with keystakeholders at all levels within accounts;

- Work close with local government toenhance government relationship (delete this)

- Examining Market and proactivelygenerating new opportunities

- Defining and driving demand creationinitiatives jointly with field sales, application support and RD team

- Leading team to promote Cadence value andensure high level of customer satisfaction

- Aligning business strategies andactivities with Account Executives, who are accountable for overall businesswith named accounts

- work closely with local media to promoteCadence brand(delete this)

- work closely with HQ to spread Cadencetechnologies and branding to China/Asia market

- help country manager work proper marketstrategy in brand promotion and business growth

- Communicate and coordinate resourcesneeds between field and different BUs

Position Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering orequivalent, ideally with both IC/EDA technical knowledge and sales background.

- 10+ years complex, multi-level,solution-based sales

- 3+ year people manager experiences

- Exposure to EDA software, methodologies& services.

- Comfortable to build executive levelrelationships

- Consistent over-achiever with strongleadership skills

- Established network of contacts withinsemiconductor marketplace

- Ability to understand and manage thecustomer expectation to anticipate future needs and help determine the idealsolution for issues.

- Able to perform well in the face of tightdeadlines and tough technical and organizational challenges.

- Fluent English communication skills inboth written and oral

- Technical Sales experiences are highlyexpected
