POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the XX Research China IT team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting local and global GIS initiatives, including Infrastructure projects, ongoing operation, end user support, project/program management, with a focus on end user productivity, information security, and IP (Intellectual Property) protection.



POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: College or University graduation
Minimum experience: 5+ years of IT support experience
multiple years of IT support with English experience
Working Time: Full Time
Travel expectation: Domestic travel on regular basis, 10%-15%/ International travel if required

Primary Responsibilities:
As 2nd line support, help 1st line deskside support to resolve user IT issues
Provide end user training
Coordinate/lead backend support teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Support global team to implement new IT projects in China, on schedule, and with quality
Support global information security team to archive infosec strategic goals
Periodically audit China IT systems/laptops for possible security concerns
Understand user requirements, and discover opportunities for improving user productivity by using IT tools
Interface between global IT organization and internal customers

Skills required to perform the job:
Basic understanding of information security concepts
Infrastructure system management experience (Servers/Network)
Helpdesk experience (HW/SW (Windows/MS Office/other apps))
Intermediate English verbal and written communication skills
High level of ownership and accountability
Project management skills *preferred
Basic SharePoint/website knowledge *preferred
