KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Develop diagnostics framework to support IP level Diagnostics development on
both pre-silicon environment (FPGA, C-Model, Palladium) and post-silicon syst
em (real ASIC and platform)
o Participate in APU/GPU silicon bring up
o Identify and help to resolve ASIC, board and firmware issues, provide diagno
stics support to external customers and internal engineering teams
o Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
o Responsible for execution of programs, multiple projects on the go
o Forward thinker to improve development process and drive innovation

REQUIREMENTS
o B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
o Good English required – verbal and written

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
o A minimum of 5+ years' experience on driver or embedded SW development and c
losely interact with HW designers (8+ years as a bachelor, 5+ years as a maste
r)
o Strong mix of large-scale software development ability and hardware understa
nding
o Proficient in C++ programming on medium to large code repository
o Familiar with X86 architecture and related Bus/technologies, i.e. PCI-E, UEF
I
o Familiar with Linux, knowledge and experience of device driver or firmware d
evelopment is required
o Familiar with Windows internals, knowledge and experience of driver/kernel i
s a plus.  
o Hands-on experience with any one of board bring up, power management, PCI-E,
and DDR/GDDR memories is preferred.
o Hands-on experience with 3D graphics is highly desired
o Strong debugging and testing skills
o Strong communication skills
