Position Overview:                                                                                                        

1As the Director of IT, primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Asia/Pacific IT resources with varying skills and disciplines, ensuring that the companys IT goals and objectives are met and/or exceeded

2Additional responsibilities include the management, strategy and execution of the companys technology plan

3Oversight of technical projects ensuring appropriate alignment with company directives and budgets

4Manage the delivery of IT support and services

5Vendor management

6IT contract negotiation; oversight of Company IT Security

7Preparing  financial budgets (includes the development of  business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives)

8Leading efforts to improve IT policy, process and procedures

9Presenting proposals for Business/ IT projects to senior executives and working closely with Business Leaders to improve efficiencies through automation

10The director will act as an advocate for the organizations IT vision via regular written and in-person communications with the senior management team, department heads, and end users.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                             

1Leads IT team ensuring continuous delivery of IT support and services

2Supervises recruitment, development, retention, and organization of IT staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies

3Coordinates and facilitates consultation with management and staff to define business and systems requirements for system changes, upgrades and new implementations

4Ensures IT systems adhere to applicable laws and regulations

5Defines and communicates IT policies, processes and standards for the organization

6Directs development and implementation of a disaster recovery and business continuity plan

7Manages IT annual operating and capital budgets ensuring no waste or overruns

8Approves, prioritizes, and oversees the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems

9Promotes and oversees strategic relationships between IT and vendors/partners

Data center management

1Oversees IT projects of all sizes ensuring processes for design, justification, initiation, control and close-out are followed

2Keeps current with trends and best practices in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices.  Advises, counsels, and educates senior management on their competitive or financial impact

3Must be available for local and out of the area travel as required for job related training. May need to attend all required meetings and functions as requested

4Manages the relationship including negotiations, day to day operations and strategic direction of IT service providers (voice, data, system monitoring, etc

5Collaborates with other business leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives

6Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1Education:  A four year college degree with major course work in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

2Experience & Skills:  with 10+ Years of IT experience.

3A minimum of 7+ years in a leadership position that includes substantial experience directing and supervising IT staff, building teams, developing IT policy & procedures and implementing business productivity tools. Previous management responsibility for a comprehensive technology program is required                                                         

4Must be available for local and out of the area travel as required for job related training

5Experience developing policies, procedures, and documentation governing best practices for operating an effective IT function

6Experience in the development, rollout and IT systems, services and support

7Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and an ability to communicate the highly technical aspects of the IT field for understanding by non-technical professionals

8Proven experience in solving complex problems for individuals or teams

9Experience with analyzing and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of options and exercising critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills

10Proven record of multi-tasking and ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures

5Cisco IP Phones, Routers, and Firewalls

6PDA's; Polycom telephone; WAP's

7Mobile Iron Wireless Device Console Manager

8EMC and Net App Storage; Microsoft Server 2008, 2010, 2012; VMware; ASA; RiverbedHP Tape Library; Cisco UC (call manager); EMC Data Domain; Cloud Solutions

9MS Office (all versions); Exchange 2013, 2016; Citrix; MS Project Server 2010SharePoint 2013; SQL DataBase, Oracle eBusiness suite; Websense,  McAfee toolsets; Cisco VPN.
