If you are interested in amplifiers, a small book that just goes over the basics of amplifiers (used in the first analog class here at Stanford) is Murmann's Analysis and Design of Elementary MOS Amplifier Stages.

It is newer, short and just talks about Amplifier stages, but I liked it. (I meant this as in addition to other suggestions here)
