DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

- Work as part of the global graphics software engineeringteam to design, develop and maintain Windows graphics driver

- Resolve problems related to graphics driver including troubleshooting,debugging and defect correction

- Specify, design and implement new ASIC and softwarefeatures

- Coordinate closely with peers both locally andinternationally to ensure timely and effective communication of all assignedwork activities

- Coach and mentor less experienced staff; influence othersas a technical leader

EXPERIENCE

- Software debugging and related tool such as WinDbg orVisual Studio in either kernel or user mode

- Programming device drivers under Windows or Linuxenvironment

- Multi-threaded programming in an x86 architecture ineither kernel or user mode

- Minimum Industry experience (Bachelor: 5..7 yrs; Master:3..5 yrs; PhD: 1+ yr)

- Object-oriented design and programming (3+ yrs)

- C/C++ programming (3+ yrs)

- Experience in Windows or Linux graphics driver developmentis preferred

- Experience with display technologies (DisplayPort, HDMI,Stereo 3D display, wireless display, etc.) is a plus

- Experience in multimedia driver (DXVA) or applicationdevelopment is a plus

- Experience in DirectX or OpenGL driver development is aplus

- Experience in OpenCL driver development is a plus

EDUCATION

- Bachelor, Master or PhD in Computer Science, ElectricalEngineering or related areas

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS

- Good understanding of PC architecture

- Good understanding of Operating System concepts

- Strong software debugging skills

- Strong verbal and written skills

- Work on and prioritize a number of active concurrent tasks

- High motivation and initiative under moderate to minimalsupervision
