It guides students through the analysis and design of transistor circuits, using worked examples and design examples as illustration. A wide range of transistor circuitry, both linear and switching, is presented in terms of fundamental qualitative circuit operation, followed by analysis and design procedure. This edition has two new chapters on power amplifiers and power supplies, which further develop many of the circuit-design techniques introduced earlier in the book.
