Job description
Develops and appliesComputer-Aided Design department (CAD) software engineering methods, theories,and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technicalproblems. Assesses architectureand hardware limitations. Plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develops routines and utility programs. Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendationsfor presentation and approval.
Requirements
-Typically requires aminimum of 2 years of related experience.
-Has a strong desire tolearn and explore new technologies.
-Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.
-Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool development are required. -Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and
procedures to resolve a variety of issues. -Has working knowledge of work area and general proficiency with tools, systems,and procedures required to accomplish the job. -Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determineappropriate action. -Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on newassignments. -Implementations and solutions are reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. -Builds productive internal/external working relationships. -Contacts are primarily within business unit and occasional organizational andexternal customer contacts on routine matters.
