Senior VLSI Design Manager / VLSI Design Director                                               

Job Description:
-          Lead and manage the SoC design & verification teams in ChengDu to support development of semi-custom CMOS complex SoCs for Media product.
-          Provide technical directions，set challenging goals, and formulate realistic objectives focusing on productivity of the team and quality of expected results.
-          Establish and execute new product development milestone achievement, production ramp management, cost reduction initiatives, resource planning, technical capability and growth of the team
-          Collaborate with marketing and/or customers to align product and technology development roadmaps and establish clear performance and product feature requirements.
-          Work with other cross functional teams in China and overseas such as software, systems, product, and test engineering to specify, design, validate, debug, and improve the product quality and timeliness to production.

Qualifications:
-          Proven track record to get a product to volume production from product definition through ramp up with emphasis on execution aspects of development
-          A demonstrated track record of managing engineering teams of at least 15 people with hands on experience with complex SOC IC’s
-          Experience related to video/audio decoding, device physics, process technology and reliability qualification is a plus
-          BSEE/MSEE, 8+ years experience within the Integrated Circuit (IC) industry with at least 4 years in tech management; director position can be considered for highly qualified candidate

Validation Manager                                             
Job Description:

You will be part of Conexant Chengdu Design Center, playing a leading role in doing next generation PC and broadband Media Processing products.  
•    Manager of Chengdu validation team. In charge of chip bring-up and validation team build-up.
•    Validation environment setup/development and chip validation planning and execution.
•    Improve the validation methodology and flow.
•    Create test plan, design test case, simulate and debug test case, analyse test coverage and execute test plan.


Requirements/Education:
MS in EE with 6+ years experience of asic validation  and 2+ years experience project leader.
BS in EE with 10+ years experience of ASIC validation  and 2+ years experience project leader.

•    Understanding dsp and communications algorithms.
•    Familiar with validation methodologies and validation flow.
•    Experience in test bench and validation environment building.
•    Experience in PHY layer test.
•    Experience in Video codec test
•    Strong problem-solving capabilities.
•    Knowledge and experience in Digital Audio/Video, High speed interface like USB / PCIe / HDMI is a plus.
•    Experience in MPEG codec and C#  language is a plus.
•   Working experience of baseband PHY/SOC IC development is preferred
Hardware Engineers

Job Description:

Develop Digital TV reference designs for worldwide customers.  
Provide hardware technical support to our internal IC design team.  
Provide customers with system integration support for products that incorporate Conexant technology in an embedded system environment.  
Assist customers with layout of circuit boards. Schematics and circuit reviews.  
Evaluate components from local Chinese suppliers.  

Job Requirements:  

BS\MS degree or higher in Electronics\Electrical or equivalent.  
At least 5 year related working experience.  
Good hardware debugging\trouble shooting skill and using debugging equipment. Experience in turning hardware to achieve higher performance or meet industrial standards.  
Good hands on experience in digital and\or Analogy hardware design, PCB layout, prototype building. Design experience on Digital TV\ STB products is a plus.  
Experience in writing hardware driver (e.g. Flash, Ethernet Switch etc.) is a plus.  
Experience in contacting with local and oversea component vendors and distributors.  
Good problem analyzing and solving skill and willing to take ownership of resolving the problem, quick-to-learn, good communication skill, self-motivated, hardworking and good team player.  
Excellent written/verbal communications skills in Chinese and English  
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) experience will help.  
Understanding of China or oversea Digital TV\STB market is a plus.

Embedded System Software Engineer

Job Description:

Design Digital TV and Digital STB Drivers\Application Software\Protocol Stack\API
Resolve the software issues and working with Hardware, Test and Firmware engineers to develop features\code based on customers’ requirements.
Handle software design and coding, documentation, and testing of software on DTV and STB reference design board. E.g. Initialization, bootstrapping using non-volatile memory, application code downloading and diagnostic tests. Providing Kernel services like task scheduling, timer services, memory /buffer management, configuration management, etc.

Job Requirements:

At least 4 years experience on Embedded device driver/application development on RTOS

MS degree or higher in Electronics\Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent.
Must have strong proficiency in C/C++ and have some arm Assembly languages programming knowledge
Must have good understanding of operating system concepts, embedded systems, real time systems etc.
Good knowledge of design methodology ,UML and Object-Oriented Analysis/Design concepts
Having a good knowledge of DVB/ATSC/ISDB Digital TV standard and MPEG-2 standard is a plus.
Knowledge and experience on embedded Linux development and J2ME/CDC development is a plus.
Hands on software development experience of the above topics will be a big advantage.
Knowledge and experience in one of the areas is helpful: device driver, human-machine interface, or computer graphics
Understanding of China or oversea DTV/STB market is a plus.

Windows device driver Engineer

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities: •Develop Microsoft Windows device drivers for PC based personal video recorder systems •Responsible for the systems software design, development, debug and testing of various video platforms •Support components include broadcast and digital television audio and video decoder systems and MPEG encoders working on Windows XP/MCE/Vista and Windows Media Center •Participate in design and code reviews •Work closely with other departments to define new features and continue to improve existing software

Job Requirements:
•BSCS/BSEE/BSCE (or equivalent)
•Must have solid experience in C programming and debugging skills •Must be at least conversant with C++
.Experts in WDM(Windows Driver Model)
•Basic knowledge on PCI& USB bus and DMA,Interrupt,experience in writing Windows device drivers using Microsoft DDK is plus•

Desired Skills:
•Experience with driver frameworks products is preferred •A working knowledge of video and audio standards would be helpful •Experience with MPEG technologies is plus
