If you able to install this Hotfix on a RHEL machine, then patch it, you will see that's gonna work..
Another guy has metioned this problem ( I believe he's using legal license ) on CentOS machine so trouble is common..
I personally IC 6.15 that is more stable ( at least with GoldenGate ) and IC6.16 doesn't bring any additional shit..

看来还是需要从Flexlm SDK入手开发出完美的lmcrypt来制作与Cadence官方发布的license.dat一致的license.dat，这样就不必再经过patch修改软件。

这点几乎不可能，ECC加密的，╮(╯_╰)╭

OK, it's a new protection scheme.Standard pubkey_verify does not work anymore because the main program checks itself ( I think a new subroutine).Latest hotfix of Assura 6.16 works under Virtuoso design environment otherwise "avview" creates the same problem (crashing).
Take care and save well version 6.1.6.090 until a smart guy finds solution..
If someone is expert on assembler, he can find a solution..
