Job Description Synopsys is seeking a talented and successful AccountManager, Inside Sales to help the company during a period of significant growthand opportunity. The Account Manager will close transactional business viathe telephone with new and existing customers to drive significant new andexisting customer business. They will be part of a team in a region withfield sales and sales engineering. Major Responsibilities •Developand close new business deals via the telephone and WebEx. Collaboratewith lead generation to receive opportunities and also create your ownopportunities. •Developrelationships with customers in the territory and ensure that they aresatisfied and generating a return on their Synopsys investment. •Renewand expand the Synopsys relationship with existing customers. Identifyand close new business within the customers including new groups /codebases aswell as additional Synopsys products. •Identifynew contacts within the Synopsys database, from incoming leads, and fromoutside targets and generate interest in the Synopsys product suite and beginthe sales process. Quickly and effectively qualify prospects and assessthe necessary steps to complete a new business transaction with them. •Managebusiness through the pipeline, including running a trial with the prospect. Maintain the velocity of all deals through the pipeline. •Achieveand exceed quarterly quota goals. Collaborate with the regional team tomeet and exceed regional team goals. •Reflectprospect and customer feedback to the Synopsys organization. Collaborateand support colleagues in an open and supportive environment. •Documentall activities and forecast business diligently within Salesforce.com. Requirements: •Demonstratedselling skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota from customersand new business. •Abilityto generate strong relationships with both customers and prospects. Ability to resolve issues on their behalf to insure satisfaction and drivebusiness to closure. •Hungry,driven, and aggressive. Ability to cold-call into a large number ofaccounts and generate a large amount of activity to fill the pipeline withqualified opportunities. •Smartand assertive. Ability to get things done tirelessly with prospects andcustomers and internally at Synopsys. •Strongunderstanding of the software tools business including customer dynamics andthe reasons why customers buy software tools. •Abilityto manage a very large number of tasks and prospects concurrently. Expertise in salesforce.com. •Bachelor’sdegree required, preferably in a technical field.
