Title: Software Engineer (Handheld)

Location: Shanghai

Overview

This SoftwareEngineer will be based in Shanghai, joining an elite engineer organization thatstrives to deliver innovative solutions that add value to our customers.  As part of our dynamicengineer team, you will work to develop a winning strategy to grow design wins,customer relationships, revenue growth, and our overall position in the semiconductor market. Thisposition will have high visibility within all departments and requires accountownership and accountability.

Reporting Structure

This is anindividual contributor role, reporting to the Manager of the Software Engineerteam.

Responsibilities:

·
Providesoftware technical support of our audio codec and amplifier products for audioproducts customers in China.

·
Provideon-site customer support and email communication with key customers to providesolutions and to troubleshoot a variety of technical problems that may arise inthe domains of embedded firmware.

·
Resolve,identify and isolate issues quickly to meet customer product schedules.

·
Payattention to detail, good communication skills, patience and willingness tooccasionally work longer hours to help key customers meet their productschedules.

Qualifications &Skills

·
BSEEor MSEE with at least 3 years experiences in software/embedded firmware.

·
Withproven experience in embedded Linux, Android and Linux ALSA.

·
Fluencyin spoken and written English and Chinese.

·
Experiencein I2S, I2C, SlimBus interfaces, mobile phone audio drivers, and DSP software.

·
Skilledat troubleshooting and isolating audio problems in analog and digital domains.

·
Proficientin C/C++, Java, assembly languages.

·
Aminimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mobile phone embedded audiofirmware development.
