Key Accountabilities
Working closely in connection with companys business units and sales team, the candidate will be required to handle a high volume of varied non-contentious work including drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, including commercial technology license agreements, collaboration agreements and other standard and non-standard agreements. The job will involve supporting other members of the legal team and interaction with commercial personnel internally at the company and at the company’s customers.
Job Requirements:
The candidate must have a US or UK legal qualification with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will also have:
sound communication skills, drafting skills, negotiation skills and commercial awareness;
a common sense, practical approach and a willingness to work both in a team and on own initiative;
the ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workload and understand business processes;
a pro-active approach and be willing to drive issues through to conclusion;
experience of intellectual property licensing; and
experience of work in-house in the semiconductor industry or similar high tech business, or for private practice with a focus on technology clients, preferably in China or Taiwan.
