这是2014年7月新出的第2版，内容有所更新，涉及了LTE Advanced最新的技术特性的介绍，适合工程研发，学校科研人员
Following on from the successful first edition (March 2012), this book gives a clear explanation of what LTE does and how it works.
This second edition introduces new material for the current state of the industry, such as the new features of LTE in Releases 11 and 12, the main short- and long-term solutions for LTE voice calls, namely circuit switched fallback and the IP multimedia subsystem; and the evolution and current state of the LTE market. It also extends some of the material from the first edition, such as inter-operation with other technologies; additional features of LTE Advanced, notably heterogeneous networks and traffic offloading; data transport in the evolved packet core; coverage and capacity estimation for LTE; and a more rigorous treatment of modulation, demodulation and OFDMA

还是比较不错的一本书，协议和基本概念的描述还是很清楚的。尽管没有更多深入的探讨，对了解4G LTE还是不错的。

多谢版主支持。
图书资料，尤其是最新的，多看看没坏处，毕竟没有一本书是完美的。
搞研发，也是要有开放的心态，有书必看，看看它怎么写的，哪些地方写得好，哪些写得不好或欠缺，和自己掌握的理解有没有差异，再对比下标准，也是个不错的学习过程。
