eMMC PE

Description:

Product engineer in charge of eMMC product development, include roles of product validation, new product introduction and new product feature design

Responsibilities:

1)
Owner of data sheet verification, FW validation, Performance characterization and System validation

2)
Support customer on new product enabling

3)
Support failure analysis, characterization software and hardware development

4)
Review customer requests, conduct gap analysis.

5)
Coordinate with stakeholders to approve or disapprove the customer requests based on the financial benefits and engineering capabilities.

6)
Forecast/analysis product yield and test time

7)
Feedback controller/package issues to suppliers

8)
Quick response on manufacturing issue

9)
Studies and analyzes existing eMMC systems, understand and explore customer usage model.

10)
Define product feature/performance and reliability capabilities

11)
Propose firmware changes based on requirements and NAND/controller capability.

Requirements:

1)
RCG or <=2 years experience at any IT related industry

2)
Any science related major, prefer master degree.

Desired Behavioral Qualities:

Be capable of continuous study and perform

Good communication capability

Listens to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovation

Uses questioning skills to better understand customer needs
