Position: Design Manager/Director Power and Lighting Solutions
o Deliver fully compliant silicon to committed planning, agreed specification and architecture
o Ensure inherent product quality supporting a zero ppm program
o Define aggressive, predictable design planning by solid effort estimation and close control
o Make sure that methodologies and infrastructure are state of the art
o Building and maintaining a world-class IC-design team in the Power and Lighting domain in Shanghai
o Optimally match team competences with team requirements
o Motivation, support, coaching, appraisal, safety/well-being, job rotation and career guidance/ development of own staff
o Establish and maintain relationships with all partners to support the PLS strategic plan
o contribute to the BL PLS leadership by living the Company values; takes ownership of the results of the development teams and demonstrates personal leadership to resolve critical problems and issues;
o supportive problem-solving approach to manage multi-site co-operations
o clear, structured and conciseness communication to stakeholders
o MSc. EE or similar, proven success in leading design teams in predictable and aggressive cycle times
o Proven ability to build high performing mixed signal design teams and to create a culture of continual improvement
o Strong knowledge of Analog and mixed signal IC design, with structured IC design methodology covering specification, implementation and design verification.
o High degree of autonomy and strong teamwork and motivation skills
o 5+ year experience as manager.
o Experienced in interacting face-to-face with customers; excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
o Proactive initiative and entrepreneurial attitude. Creative to resolving issues. |
