General Role Description:
The Marketing Programs Manager should strive to understand XX’s
products, product value propositions, customers and technologies – in order to
be successful in generating and implementing the necessary marketing
staretgy and collateral/content to effectively drive business creation and the
XX brand in Asia.
The Marketing Programs Manager will be responsible for working with cross
functional teams -- namely the corporate commuication team and the local
regional teams -- to develop and implement the asian elements of XX’s
global communication programs. The programs will comprize a combination of
online and offline marketing tactics including: events/seminars, webinars,
conferences/trade shows, email, video, blogging, social media, and online web,
specialized collateral, public relations and advertizing.
Main responsibilities:
Key responsibilities consist of:
- Work collaboratively with corporate communications and regional
management to assess business objectives and challenges;
- Provide reccomendations for localization based on experience
- Develop and implement corresponding cross-organizational marketing
programs/plans which include: production of event promotional
materials/shows, web site production, advertizing campaigns, public realtions
activities, training material and other related collateral
- Interact with agency/contractors and corporate XX organization as
necessary to facilitate the successful execution of integrated marketing
programs
- Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
- Deliver program results within budget
Required experience
Required experience and skills:
Strong English and Chinese language skills
- A strong understanding of XX’s products and offereings
- Strong project management, organisational and planning skills
- Problem analysis and problem-solving
- The ability to work on multiple projects at one time
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Knowledge of regional marketing techniques -- advertising, public relations,
web, social marketing, tradeshow and database marketing techniques
- Ability to assess and drive programs with an international/global perspective
- Result driven – basic understanding of macom measurement
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to participate in “off hour” conference calls
- Self motivated
- The ability to manage outside agencys
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong creative skills
- Driver and doer mentality
- Ability to work indepentendly
- Strong people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
- Underatanding of Microsoft Office programs
