Job Description:
This is an entry level,firmware engineering oriented system engineer position. The engineer will bepart of the vertical system engineering team composed with hardwareengineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, FPGA designengineering, signal integrity engineering, and others. Location: Shanghai

Description:

In theposition, the candidate will be responsible for creating and executing the testsuite/cases, test tools, and automation system to assure the quality ofsoftware platforms, which cover components from low level boot-loader, devicedriver, OS, middleware (multimedia and graphics), and up to high levelapplication framework (like Android), and Marvell proprietary compiler/debugger/performancetools.

His/her responsibilities will include but not belimited to

- Identify thefunctionality, stability, performance and power quality criteria for the wholesystem or individual components;

- Execute testsuites to reach defined test coverage and debugging requirement.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in ElectronicEngineering, Computer Science with relevant experiences, or Master of Sciencedegree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with relevant experience, orequivalent.

The candidate is expected to have below extraqualifications:

- Programmingskill in C, C++ and scripting language, i.e. Perl, python, is a must.

- Knowledge orworking experience in projects similar to above projects is preferred.

-Experience ingeneral embedded software development/debugging/validation and its automationis a plus.

-Leadershipexperience in either software validation or development is a plus.

Position description:

Run simulationfor module and chip level (mainly in SerDes IP/Chip), work closely withdesigner;

Develop andexecute verification plan;

Define,implement and analysis functional/code coverage;

Develop/maintain/enhanceenvironment (TB/tools/scripts/flow).

Requirement:

-MS in EE

-Proficientand experienced in one of the high level verification methodology (VMM, UVM);

-Experiencedwith hardware verification language (Vera, SystemC, SystemVerilog)

-Proficientwith Verilog HDL;

-Proficientwith at least one scripting languages, e.g. Csh, Bash, Perl, Tcl

-Familiar withASIC design flow

-Experiencedin SerDes PHY(USB3, SATA, SAS, PCIE etc) is a plus.
