Description:

·
Responsible foroverall motor control system solution success, including motor control systemanalysis, modeling, motor auto tuning and design of motor control systems forapplications ranging from home appliance to industrial drives

·
Working with ICand marketing to define new products

·
Working withapplication to define/deliver control library within SDK

·
Provide customersworld class motor control library and motor control reference design

·
Testing andvalidation of motor control system

·
Providestechnical leadership for projects incorporating complex electromechanical(“Mechatronic”) systems

·
Designs andoptimizes simultaneous system performance goals through requirements flow down

·
Effectivelyintegrates all aspects of a design through the use of multi-disciplinaryengineering

·
Verifies andcalibrates motor control characteristics, diagnoses and corrects deficienciesin designs and prototypes

·
Understands andcreates system and subsystem specifications

·
Stays abreastwith new technology

Job Requirements:

·
Experience withdesign and analysis of motor control systems.

·
Strong computerskills, and knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. Matlab) is required

·
Experience withARM platform is preferred

·
Generalcompetency in all core fields (electronics, electromagnetics, computer hardwareand software) is preferred

·
Background inindustrial drive systems is preferred

·
Excellent problemsolving techniques

·
Knowledge ofsystem synthesis, analysis and verification techniques

·
Good organizationand documentation abilities
