Description:

·
Responsible for overall motorcontrol system solution success, including motor control system analysis,modeling, motor auto tuning and design of motor control systems forapplications ranging from home appliance to industrial drives

·
Working with IC and marketing todefine new products

·
Working with application todefine/deliver control library within SDK

·
Provide customers world class motorcontrol library and motor control reference design

·
Testing and validation of motorcontrol system

·
Provides technical leadership forprojects incorporating complex electromechanical (“Mechatronic”) systems

·
Designs and optimizes simultaneoussystem performance goals through requirements flow down

·
Effectively integrates all aspectsof a design through the use of multi-disciplinary engineering

·
Verifies and calibrates motorcontrol characteristics, diagnoses and corrects deficiencies in designs andprototypes

·
Understands and creates system andsubsystem specifications

·
Stays abreast with new technology

Job Requirements:

·
Experience with design and analysisof motor control systems.

·
Strong computer skills, andknowledge of simulation tools (e.g. Matlab) is required

·
Experience with ARM platform ispreferred

·
General competency in all corefields (electronics, electromagnetics, computer hardware and software) ispreferred

·
Background in industrial drivesystems is preferred

·
Excellent problem solvingtechniques

·
Knowledge of system synthesis,analysis and verification techniques

·
Good organization and documentationabilities

Education:

·
MS in Electrical Engineering withemphasis in motor control design with at least 7 years of experience in motorcontrol design as well as PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in motorcontrol with at least 4 years of experience.
