Job Responsibilities:
As a DSP (Digital SignalProcessing) engineer for 芯得,the candidate will join a team of experienced scientists and engineers todevelop exciting technology in image and video processing. The position willgive you an opportunity to combine your ingenuity with the next generationproducts in TV and Panel industry. Typical duties performed as follow:
1. Design and implementation of video postprocessing algorithm such as true motion based frame interpolation,super-resolution, noise reduction;
2. Design and implementation of imagealgorithm such as local dimming, scaling, color enhancement, 2D to 3D
3. Support the verification andoptimization of algorithm according to HW requirements;
4. Work with image quality team to improveimage quality, and tune image quality according to requirements of customers.
Minimum Requirements
1. Ph. D or Master in EE/CS specializingin digital signal processing, image processing, video processing, computervision, pattern recognition, or computer graphics;
2. Thorough background in signalprocessing, image and video processing, statistical analysis and patternrecognition;
3. Solid background in video codec, suchas H.264 and H.265.
4. Proven ability in designing,implementing, debugging and understanding complex algorithm;
5. Solid programming skills in C/C++ andMATLAB;
6. Strong analytical, creative,self-motivated, good communications skill;
7. Enjoy R&D work, open and positiveattitude;
Additional Preferred Skills
8. Experience with IC design flow andmethodologies; experiences with algorithm design targeted for IC and FPGA;
9. Previously worked on video processingalgorithms such as motion estimation, super resolution, deinterlacing, scaling,noise reduction is a big plus;
10. Familiar with digital video algorithm andinterfaces;
11. Strong communication skills, presentationskills, good organization and skilled in writing high quality engineeringdocumentation.

5. Response for design architecture ofvideo/image processing chip or IP and create/maintain c model for the chip orIP.
6. Architecture design work includesmapping algorithm solution into hardware solution from following aspects:
a) Function partition of algorithmsolution;
b) Design Interface and interface’s protocoldesign between IP block or sub-block;
c) Control mechanism define, calculationlogic evaluation, storage size and bandwidth evaluation based on cost, throughput,
7. C model work include following aspects:
a) Create c model based on originalalgorithm c code and architecture
b) Create mapping between c model’s behaviorand RTL behavior
Requirements
12. 3+ (5+ for senior) years experience in ICindustry
13. Background and experience
a) RTL design and verification backgroundat IP level and chip level
b) Familiar with often used interfaceprotocols and their design and verification
c) Familiar with IC develop tools;
d) It is better have graphics and video chipdesign background
e) Familiar with c++ or c and their developenvironment
