Analog designer, PLS

Job description

YourResponsibilities:

• Develop high voltage Lighting ICs     by using CMOS/Bi-CMOS/DMOS technology.
• Circuit design of analogue, mixed     signal and/or large-signal, HV circuits

·
According ESD, Latch-up, EMC,DfX compliancy and robust IC design rules

·
Instructing lay-out engineersand contacts with device physics on models, new devices etc.

·
IC validation andcharacterization (interpreting statistical data)

·
Coaching juniors.

·
Writing internal designdocuments.  e.g. design reports, evaluation plans/docs…

·
Competitor analysis, (SWOT’s)

·
Maintaining knowledge on tools,design methodologies and circuits (internal and external sources)

·
Be an active member of the Developmentorganization (GWO’s, peer reviews, consultancy etc.)

·
Support deployment of
policies, procedures and WoWsuch as BCaM, Sparc, Impulse

• System design

·
Definition and specification ofIC’s and circuits

·
System simulation

·
Writing patent proposals

• Support

·
Leading design review meetings

·
Supporting product releaseincluding qualification and cooperation with marketing and application.

·
Customer support includingproblem solving activities and returns analysis

·
Writing customer documents

Your Profile:

• Academic/Professional     Qualification: Bachelor/Master Degree or above.
• Good knowledge on power     electronics, device physics, and analog circuits.
• Experience in analog/mixed power     IC design, AC-DC IC experience is preferred.
• Understand basic digital design flow,     experience in digital circuit design by using Verilog/VHDL.
• Familiar with Cadence IC design     environment.
• Work Experience: 5+ years     experience.

Fluent in both mandarin andEnglish.
