Responsibilities
 Promote use of our 8 bit and 32 bit microcontroller in Chinese universities
 Optimize effectiveness of University Program donations into China by ensuring maximum adoption of our technologies
 Develop, oversee & maintain our University Program Chinese web site
 Organize localization of our University Program material into Chinese language
 Organize our University Program professor workshop program in China
 Work in partnership with other microcontroller group (AVR, AVR32,ARM Touch, etc) to advance our University Program in China
 Establish and maintain network of our users with leading Chinese professors in top 50 Chinese engineering schools
 Initiate events such as our microcontroller design contests and our Professors User forum
 Develop and leverage partnership with third parties such as IAR in China
 Identify and qualify opportunities for research collaboration and investment opportunities in Chinese academia
 Exploit examples of best practice in our University Program globally to benefit Chinese academics and vice versa
 Track activities of competitors in a timely fashion
 Coordinate, plan and track xx customer training activities, including Seminars, workshops, Customer training centers in China, Taiwan, etc
 Any other duties as and when assigned.
Mandatory Skills
 Master’s degree holder in Electronic Engineering , Computer Science or related discipline with 5 years experience. PHD holder is preferred
 Extensive knowledge of Higher Education in China preferable gained as a Prof or researcher
 Experienced microcontroller user preferable with our AVR/AVR32 and design tools
 Experience in embedded systems and/or DSP design and development
 Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English
 Proven ability to write and present papers and proposals
 Excellent interpersonal skills
 Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision and running with new initiatives
 Comfortable working with cross-functional and remote teams

Preferred Skills
 Familiar with Microsoft Office
 Excellent presentation skills to clients, fluent Mandarin & English are a must.
 Excellent written and verbal communication & negotiation skills

Education
Master’s degree holder in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
