As a System Architect you are responsible for providing leadership and direction in driving the technology vision that is congruent with the business strategy. The ideal candidate will create and maintain an intuitive, web based multimedia content management system with Business Intelligence capability that empowers users to gain media information insights and share information, OR the candidate has strong SaaS/Cloud platform design experience. The System Architect will also act as an internal consultant to proactively identify and provide technology and standard system to meet or exceed expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop infrastructure and core architecture for enterprise multimedia management system using N-Tier, SOA concepts
Participates in client communications to understand client's business requirement and propose alternative solutions
Work with other product manager to determine project scope, deliverables, time and effort estimation
Identify project risks, and provide solutions to control/eliminate substantial risks
Guide SSE, SE in POC stage, and provide expertise to solve technical issues
Transfer and share knowledge inside the team
Work also includes enhance, document, test, and support software systems

QUALIFICATIONS
B.S or M.S or above Degree in computer science, or related disciplines
Minimum of 10 years competitive technical experience with 5+ years as a System Architect and demonstrated success defining and designing excellent products architecture
3+ years of experience in a job related with the high scalable and distributed internet based enterprise system
Extensive knowledge of the multimedia processing and content management
Strong software design capability, familiar with OO analysis and design methods and tools
Clear understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
Skilled in J2EE platform - JSP, Java, Servlet, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic
Excellent on C/C++ and PHP programming skills with Linux environment
Familiar with open source search engine, such as, Lucene
Familiar with Web 2.0/AJAX/Flex
Has know-how on network buildup, planning and design, especially network performance, scalability, maintenance, security related staffs
Experienced in distribution system, such Linux cluster, MySQL cluster and distributed File/Image/Video Storage
Strong technical skill in DB modeling, DW/OLAP, DM/BI experience is a plus
Working experience on image, video and/or audio technology is a plus
Understanding of Media Protocols like RTP, RTSP, RTCP, UDP and HTTP will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both English and Chinese
Self-motivated, quick learner, good team worker, highly responsive and proactive person
Work under pressure of immediate deadlines. Be able to handle multitask and willing to take risk in startup company
