Job Description

- Quick learner with high level of self-motivation and dedication, with ability to deliver high quality products on time

- Meticulous, methodical, uncompromising, and creative in testing

- Experience in software debugging, problem creation and trapping

- Experience in devising testing / validation methodology is strong plus

- Communicate effectively in a team, able to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment

- Understanding of NAND Flash concepts, knowledge of Flash management techniques, including wear leveling, garbage collection (strong plus)

Job Description

- Design high speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits within custom chips for the hard disk drive industry

- Work directly with customers to determine system requirements, write specifications and guide customers in the use of pre-amplifier products

- Use high speed electronic characterization equipment to evaluate and debug the functionality of the design once the part is fabricated in silicon

- Provide technical leadership through all phases of product development including test, yield, characterization, reliability analysis, qualification and release to manufacturing

Requirements/Qualifications (Education)

LSI's Storage Peripherals Group is looking for an experienced custom analog IC designer to join the pre-amplifier design team. At LSI we are committed to innovation and industry leadership. We develop advanced high-speed magneto electronic read/write IC architectures as the basis for our products.

Design team members define, create and modify high-speed custom integrated circuits for hard disk drive (HDD) products using leading edge CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS technologies.

Team members support the entire product life cycle beginning with design and moving through test, qualification, release to production and ramp to volume.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), MS required, Ph.D. preferred

- 5 years and above Experience with analog and mixed signal IC product design, integration and verification is required.

- Strong physical layout knowledge and parasitic component understanding essential

- Process and device physics knowledge critical

- Proven skills using electronic measurement equipment in a lab environment

- Expertise in applied magnetism and recording a strong plus

Job Descriptions:

As a member of the Read Channel team, candidate must be willing to work as an extended member of the design team. Duties will include functional verification of Storage read channel mixed-signal IP. Candidate will be expected to contribute to design and development of System verilog based verification environment and will be responsible for verification closure of block/chip/system level functions for mixed signal based IP. Experience with System Verilog and functional coverage methodologies is required. Must be willing to follow a disciplined verification methodology and to work closely with a multi-location, international design team. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.

Job Requirements:

BSEE with 3-5+ years of design and/or verification experience required, MSEE preferred.

Job Descriptions:

Manage existing designs and support them to move to production smoothly to achieve annual revenue target in ZTE.
Aggressively promote LSI Networking and Storage solutions to ZTE to achieve annual design win target.
Coordinate with internal team to resolve commercial/technical/quality/delivery issues to satisfy ZTE expectation.
Establish and maintain good relationship with ZTE different BUs and different levels to build credit and confidence on them.

Job Requirements:

Job Descriptions:

To provide Storage administration and engineering support in China and further our global support model. This is required due to the vast growth in China and regions outside the U.S. This requisition is part of the Workforce Plan alignment efforts.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of experience with Unix and/or Linux (Solaris and RedHat Linux OS) administration. 1-3 years of experience with Storage and Backup infrastructure administration with experience in Network Appliance Filers, SAN, OnStor gateways, EMC, Veritas Cluster Software, Veritas File System, Volume Manager, enterprise RAID Array and Netbackup. Vendor relation management experience required. Ability to work with a flexible schedule. Experience with Perl, Tcsh and other administrative languages is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment with a positive customer service and teamwork attitude. Familiarity with Semiconductor and Design Center business operation. Demonstrates initiative & contributes to problem solving.
