Description:

As a MSP430 BusinessCustomer Quality Engineer (BCQE) in China you will have the opportunity toclosely interact with our customers and the MSP430 functional teams in process,product development, design, test, marketing, and manufacturing functions. Sat-isfyingour local but also WW customers, encouraging an early product quality assuranceprocess as well as ensuring high quality and stable production of MSP430devices will be the focus of your work. In your role as BCQE you are the focalpoint in China for customer quality issues as well as responsible for a leadinghigh quality of our value line products.

Key working areas:

• Youare the primary quality and reliability representative to external and internalcus-tomers, beginning with new process development, continuing through productchanges till product end-of-life

• Youwill proactively work on identifying and solving systemic development andproduc-tion process issues and drive continuous improvements to ensue highestproduct qual-ity from the early beginning

• Youwill own and manage the overall customer product return process for quality andreliability issues in China

• Youact as team leader to solve customer issues

• Youhave to closely interact with the WW MSP430 organization to achieve alignmentand synergy in implementing highest quality assurance processes, methods andstruc-tures

• Youwill work on establishing an efficient MSP430 focused customer support networkfor Value Line products in China in order to meet strategic business targets

Successin this role will be measured against customer satisfaction, customer qualityindi-ces as well as product quality metrics.

Qualification/Requirements: The ideal candidate will have

• Adegree in electrical engineering, physics or equivalent education

• Atleast 4 years experience in some of the following areas: Customer QualityEngineer-ing, IC product development, IC test development, IC productengineering, or IC manu-facturing processes

•Exceptional problem solving skills and sound knowledge of quality tools

• Aproactively mode of thinking and acting

• Theability to build relationships and interact with customers and internalfunctions, both within Texas Instruments’ businesses and manufacturing

• Atrack record of managing customer expectations and driving for results withinto en-sure customer expectations are met

• Verygood command of written and spoken English

• Theability to work in a highly dynamic environment and cope with stress

• Thewillingness to travel internationally

•Experience with microcontrollers would be a plus
