Component Design Engineer - Analog

Job Description:

Summary: Detailed design of analog/mixed-signal circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of circuit and design support for mass production.

Has the flash memory design experience is preferred.

Essential Functions:

·
Architects, designs and verifies circuits, logic, systems, algorithms, etc. to meet product requirements.

·
Determines design approaches and parameters.

·
Responsible for custom layout, including overseeing the work of layout designers.

·
Conducts evaluation of design results by laboratory measurements of ICs.

·
Reports on design results through design reviews, in accordance with company quality requirements and resolves action items generated as a result of these reviews.

·
Attends design reviews to provide input and guidance to other designers.

Qualifications:

·
About 3 years experience in IC design, focusing on analog circuit design;

·
BS or MS degree obtained in relevant fields;

·
Good English in both written and spoken (technical communication English).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·
Understanding of engineering fundamentals

·
Knowledge of complex AC/DC analysis (poles, zeros, compensation)

·
Signal analysis knowledge (convolution, transforms)

·
Parasitic analysis knowledge (capacitance, resistance, power grid, package)

·
MOS Device modeling skills (noise, excess thermal noise, DIBL)

·
Knowledge of CMOS fabrication processes.

·
Knowledge of MOS transistors and analog/digital circuit design

·
Knowledge of digital design and design flows for optimal design results (area, timing, power)

·
Knowledge of design EDA tools such as Cadence Schematic entry, Eldo/Hspice experience
