Licensing serving error :
Check the license log file for source of the problem (Licensing Support at Synopsys Support Center can assist with general license server issues):
Could not open TCP port – try a different port number, or bring up the server as root.
Hostid is not correct – recut the license file with a correct hostid.
Hostname is not correct – edit the SERVER line in the license file to correct hostname.
Missing license feature – Check with Synopsys Sales if the customer is entitled to this feature. If yes, Sales needs to recut a license. If not, Sales can query the customer whether they want to purchase this feature.
SSS error – run sssverify on the license file. The license integrity feature (SSS) is now required, and will produce a hard error if there are problems. |
