SW Verification Architect

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this role should have strong SW devepoment background with broad knowledge on various SW platforms and operation systems. The candidate is expected to take Overall responsible for test coverage / scope / strategy / method for both black box testing and white box testing of all features within mobile platform.

-Learn the new technologies/ architecture of application/software platforms that will be introduced in future products and provide technology studies to line.

- Devising, gaining management commitment to, and implementing effective and efficient Test Strategies for projects .Propose test directions/strategies to projects and line and assist project with test planning.

- Proposing automation strategy for a technology area and prototyping automation support.

- Reviewing test specification, test plan, test cases to secure the test strategy was fulfilled.

- Define verification guidelines and Training/Coaching on test technology and methodology.

- Identifying the opportunity to improve test quality on test process, strategy, methodology and test automation.

- Building and maintaining interfaces to other organizations within SEMC from technical perspective.
Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master's of Telecommunication or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5
years experience in embedded software or mobile application development.

Understanding of verification technology and methodology

·
Have proven experiences in Android system verification, especially for Instrument/JUnit/Android Unit test

·
Consolidated scripting experience of Perl and Shell under Linux, and Java programming experience under Linux for mobile applications is highly expected

·
Capabilities in automated testing for mobile application, and deep understanding of all automation testing types

·
Proven documentation skill in MS Word/Excel/PPT, and VB programming in Excel is highly expected

·
Open source concept is highly expected

·
Good understanding of OOA/OOD

·
Strong ability in analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving.

·
Good command of both oral and written English.
