Having problem with installation. Read the installation instruction but no use.  Need step by step instruction?

what I did:

1- extract pakage to a tmp directory
2- now I have 12112-vwf-2010-00-rh32.tar.gz in my tmp directory
3- run "management consol" and then clicked "add and manage updates"
4- Browsed to "12112-vwf-2010-00-rh32.tar.gz" file and clicked install
5- start installing but it says :error: creating directory ..."
6- at the end it says "update shortcuts" I asy yes but no new shortcuts
7- I don't see vwf explorer?

What is the problem?

It seems this vwf is for Linux and I was trying to install in windows. Anyone has windows version to post the download link?
