HOWTO: setting EXT9.1.2

Hi Friends, many people have sent me PMs asking for help about how to make EXT9.1.2 work especially to fix the problem with  DCM_Core.
First of all, if you want to download EXT9.1.2 here the link (thanks to SamsungMonitor)

it's an update so you don't need a previous version to install it.
it is installed as any Cadence tool with InstallScape 3.71

after installing it you should crack it.
The crack was given by vanduongbk (thanks for that)

Extact it to where ever you want
before applying the patch uncomment all your EDA environment setting from your bashrc.
1/copy sfk ,patch to folder install ,as ..../EXT912
2/use root ,run ./patch...



if you copied sfk to your folder install, you will have one error when applying the patch (doesn't matter)


assuming that that EXT 9.1.2 is installed in /EDA/Cadence/EXT912 here what you should add to your bashrc:

export QRC_HOME=/EDA/Cadence/EXT912
export QRC_ENABLE_EXTRACTION="t"
export PATH=$QRC_HOME/binQRC_HOME/tools/binPATH

just refer to them in the license file:
DAEMON cdslmd  /EDA/Cadence/IC610/tools/bin/cdslmd


and in your bashrc:
alias startca='x/EDA/Cadence/IC610/bin/lmgrd  -c /EDA/Cadence/licenses/license.dat  -l /tmp/cadence.log'
