Altimum Designer VS Cadence Vs Synopsys

i m new in ic design...now which one i sould choose for beginning???

Synopsys and Cadence are 2 main player on ASIC CAD tool market, and except Mentor G. everything else are small players.
If you do digital design, Synopsys is a better choice. If you are a front-end engineer, you should not master much tools, else if you are a back-end engineer, you'd better know the whole toools in the design flow!

The 3 company's tools are all usefull: digital front-end simulator, sythesis tool,place and routing,physical verification tools and so on
