Hi
There is my opinions for your questions.
First. you should know some basic knowedge about the semiconductor device, such as PN junctions and the bipolar and MOS working theroy. You can
learn these from a textbook about the semiconductor device. Meanwhile, you must know the basic theroy about the circuit analysis.
Second, about the software. There are many eda softwares, Hspice and Cadence are so famous. In my opinion ,the manual of the hspice is best
material to learn the software. And the Cadence comprises so many functions, you need not to know every one. As I knowt, its ADE is a good tool
to input your schematic. And I think it is not clever to pay too much time in the software when you are learning.
Third about the textbook. There are some excellent textbook about the analog analysis and design. So you can choose one for you main textbook
and the others for assistant one.Because you don't have so much time to study every one carefully. razavid's and Gray's book are very good.
When you know the analog design basic theroy, you can refer the others. As far as I know, every book has itself merit. For example, the Allen's
book's Amplifer content is very good.
That's all. Best wishes for you.
PS: you also should know how the bipolar and the MOS are fabricated and the layout about the devices. |
